These terms govern your use of themintindex.com and any purchase you make from The Minty Index. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to them.

Who we are

The Minty Index is a retail store operated from Grain Valley, Missouri, United States. Reach us at stayminty.fts@gmail.com or 816-335-5011.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. By ordering, you confirm the payment method you use is yours and the information you provide is accurate.

Products, pricing, and availability

We do our best to describe and photograph products accurately, but colors and finishes may vary slightly on your screen. Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. We reserve the right to correct pricing or description errors, limit order quantities, and refuse or cancel any order — including after a confirmation email is sent — if we suspect fraud, a pricing error, or the product is unavailable. If we cancel an order you've paid for, we refund you in full.

Orders and payment

Your order is an offer to buy, accepted when we ship it. Payment is collected at checkout through Shopify's secure payment processing. We do not store your full card details.

Shipping, returns, and refunds

Shipping timelines and costs are covered in our Shipping Policy. Returns, refunds, and cancellations are covered in our Return Policy. Both are part of these terms.

Product use and safety

Many items we sell are tools, adhesives, electronics, and automotive accessories. You are responsible for using them safely, following any manufacturer instructions included with the product, and confirming compatibility with your vehicle or application before installing. We are not responsible for damage or injury resulting from misuse, improper installation, or use outside a product's intended purpose.

Diagnostic tools

OBD2 scanners and similar devices report information provided by your vehicle. They are aids, not a substitute for professional inspection or repair. Confirm findings with a qualified mechanic before acting on them.

Your account

If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. Tell us right away if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

Acceptable use

Don't use this site to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, transmit malware, attempt unauthorized access to our systems, or collect data from the site by automated means without our written permission.

Intellectual property

The site's name, logo, layout, text, and images are owned by us or used with permission, and may not be reused commercially without our written consent. Product images and specifications may be supplied by manufacturers and remain their property.

Reviews and submissions

If you send us reviews, photos, comments, or ideas, you grant us permission to use and display them in connection with our business without payment or attribution. Don't submit anything unlawful, misleading, or that isn't yours to share.

Third-party links and services

Our site relies on third-party services, including Shopify for hosting and payments, and may link to sites we don't control. We aren't responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site and its content are provided as is, without warranties of any kind except those that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including your rights under applicable federal and state consumer protection law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Jackson County, Missouri.
